San Sebastian Gastronomika was launched in 1999 as the first international event for top-end gastronomy and today is one of the most prestigious conferences in the industry.

Every year the event, organised by the El Diario Vasco, brings together Spanish and international chefs and becomes one of the major annual gatherings for members of the world of gastronomy.

Real-time tasting is one of the defining characteristics of San Sebastian Gastronomika, as celebrated chefs prepare meals in the on-stage kitchen of the main hall of the Kursaal Congress Centre.
