Established in Barcelona in 1994, Grup GSR is a company which organises, promotes and markets events exclusively in the areas of gastronomy, wine and hospitality. It publishes the most important online magazine in Spanish gastronomy, 7 Caníbales, which was awarded the National Gastronomy Prize in 2018. It also organises a series of events, including the food fair Mercat de Mercats and the Tast a la Rambla project.
MERCAT DE MERCATS
The major festival for the markets of Barcelona, showcasing the traditional markets and local, seasonal products. This open-air event is held in the centre of Barcelona and takes place over four days in a space of more than 8,000 square metres. The aim of the fair is to improve the visibility of the markets of Barcelona in a festival which gives pride of place to high-quality local food and drink. Mercat de Mercats is a festival of food and wine which gives visitors the chance to watch cooking events and taste products for free. More than 235,000 people visited the event last year.

TAST A LA RAMBLA
Tast a la Rambla is an annual gastronomical event developed by the Associació d’Amics i Veïns de la Rambla and organised by Grup Gsr since 2014. Every year around 40 major restaurants help to turn la Rambla into the centre of food and drink in Barcelona and bring top-end gastronomy to residents, for four days enabling visitors to taste tapas from some of the best restaurants in town at a very accessible price. The event is complemented by other leisure activities, including concerts and cooking shows. It is one of the unmissable events of the city’s food and drink calendar.
