Colpisa is today recognised as the leading private news agency in Spain, based on its contribution to the print press. Founded in 1972, it provides general news to the 12 regional newspapers of Vocento and to a long list of media and institutional clients. Independence, accuracy and quality, plus the experience and specialisation of its correspondents, are some of its main characteristics.
Since 2008, the agency has served as a central newsroom which supplies edited and designed general news pages to Group publications. This has enabled the newspapers to improve their News, World and Economy sections, and to free up resources to focus on their own content.
